Why we're here

I've spent my life in kitchens, and a kitchen teaches you fast that there's no such thing as an unimportant part. If the dishwasher doesn't show up, there isn't a clean plate in the building. If the host isn't there, no one gets seated. The garden taught me the same thing. So did my own gut.

Most of us are living in fight-or-flight. Rushing, scrolling, stressed and running on empty. In that state we lose touch with our bodies, with each other and with the Earth, and the choices we make start to deplete all three.

The way back is simple: come back to yourself. Slow down. Breathe. Feed the living microbes inside you. Put your hands in living soil. When you're calm and clear, you remember that everything is connected, and caring for yourself becomes caring for the planet.
