Our Impact
One tree for every $5 you spend
Every purchase at The Ninth Petal plants trees through our partner Ecologi. It happens automatically at checkout. You don't have to opt in or add anything to your cart.
What we've done together so far
- 13,049 trees funded
- 234 tonnes of CO₂e avoided through verified carbon projects
- Our live, public profile: ecologi.com/theninthpetal
These numbers are measured, not estimated. Every tree and every tonne is listed on our Ecologi impact certificate, and each carbon credit is retired on Ecologi's public ledger under independent standards such as Gold Standard.

Why trees and soil?
Trees hold topsoil in place, feed the underground fungal networks that keep soil alive, and pull carbon out of the air. Living soil grows nutrient-dense food, and nutrient-dense food feeds a healthy gut. It is one cycle, and each purchase helps restore it.
A chef's reason
I'm a chef. Everything I have ever put on a plate started in soil: the vegetables, the grain, the grass the cattle ate. For years I ran kitchens without thinking about that. Then I started growing food myself, and I saw that a cook is only as good as the ground his ingredients come from. Tired soil grows tired food, and no amount of technique fixes that at the stove.
So my work depends on soil, the same way your dinner does. Planting trees with every order is how this store pays some of that back.
